What is the craziest prop you have ever brought to a game?

A chalice made of a heavily papier-machete crafted skull for vampire the masquerade LARP. I think the LARPers outnumbered the people who would look at us as very strangely, so nothing problematic there.

Largest group was around 15 - 20 people. Definitely a different dynamic of how you can even run a group that size (and not be larping).

I had the advantage of a large chalkboard, three trestle tables, and a large space in the middle where I could pace. You can't sit as a GM when you run a group that big. Splitting the group is nearly essential, but when they are together you need to keep moving. For combats, we had a process.

1. Informational questions - I would go around the tables one by one, and people would ask me questions about the situation.
2. Lock in your actions - This one required trust. You thought of your action in the combat, and then locked it in (your head).
3. Action resolution - as I went around the table (it was group initiative), people would tell me the locked in actions. If we got to two or more actions that would conflict, then we would figure out what happened with them and move on. There were more than one deaths or injuries that occurred when someone stepped into arrow or lightning bolt fire. Coordination by the party soon followed those.

It was a fun time, and I would do it again, but not for a regular game.

I have never been much for marathon gaming, i just don't have the endurence for it. So I would say the longest session I have run would be like 6 hours.

My favorite Mech is the Warhammer
